    My name is Matt May PhD, ABD, MSPC

    I have been practicing in behavioral health since 2000. I have experience working with children, adolescents, couples, and/or families in individual, family, and group settings. I have previously worked as a regional supervisor of an intensive therapy program troubled youth and truancy program. My goal is to improve behavioral problems, mental/emotional difficulties, and overall functionality. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as in Motivational Interviewing. I chose to become a mental health professional, because I felt called to help others improve to become the best person possible. I have been active in the human services field since 2002.

    I specialize in men’s issues, addiction, couples, family, and adolescents. I have a significant amount of experience working with troubled adolescents with anger problems, ODD, substance abuse, truancy, and illegal activity. Also have experience working with individuals with special needs such as IDD and autism.

    You can contact the office to schedule an appointment. I am in-network with some insurance’s and EAPs. Faith-based counseling is available by request.

    I am currently a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors(AACC).

    He graduated from Grand Canyon University.

    Matt is working towards his LPC and he is supervised by Laura Chandler.
