Mental Health Evaluations
Eagles Counseling does have counselors who offer mental evaluations to individuals that would like be to evaluated for a health diagnosis. The process of getting evaluated consists of doing an interview and performing psychometric tests. Individuals that are utilizing their insurance benefits will be required to have a mental health evaluation. The purpose of this is to demonstrate medical necessity to your insurance company to pay for counseling.

The LCMH (Low-Cost Mental Health) is a program offered at Eagles Counseling that allows people to get counseling based upon ability to pay. Some of our providers do participate in this program. Many Medicaid and Medicare providers have very long wait lists. This program allows people to get the help that they need. Most people do not want to wait six months to see a therapist.
Telehealth
Eagles counseling offers counseling through video and phone.
Warmline
The Warmline Help Line is a free program offered at Eagles Counseling ran by volunteers. The Para-Professional program allows individuals in the community to speak to a para-professional free of charge for up to 15 minutes. This program has limited slots and availability. Individuals that are interested in receiving services from this program can contact Eagles Counseling to schedule an appointment.
This program is not a substitute for professional help. The volunteers do not treat or diagnose mental health challenges.
